i'm suffocating the clock to keep you
i think like a saint, but swing like a thief
It is happenstance that Nate isn’t here – between wanting to get a head start on things for the next couple of seasons before the monsoons hit and Nate working on something for the Voice, it felt right to simply host it now, to focus his attention on the Lady of the Stars, one whom he hasn’t seen in far too long.

And if Sunjata cared more for what others thought of him, it might have been an awkward encounter with the way Safrin arrives, the way she sits on the windowsill, the innuendos placed therein. But it isn’t, not as he offers her an easy smile – a characteristically roguish one that screams Sunjata time and time again. “Perhaps.” He says, in response to Frey. But he knows that she isn’t Frey’s biggest fan, and he knows that he isn’t their biggest fan either. He’s Safrin’s. She’d made him what he is, after all.

She’s who he’d come to time and time again.

As for being flexible? Well, he can’t help the quiet breath of a sound that leaves his throat, almost similar to a laugh but not quite fully given. A step closer to her, the flowers held in his hands delicately much like when he’d arrived with the necklace for her the last time they’d met. “I’m always flexible for you.” And he was. He can’t think of a time where he hasn’t been. He reaches out to either hand her the bouquet or to set it beside her on the windowsill. “Perhaps a windbreaker of a sort, one that can be activated when the winds begin?” A brief pause as he considers his words, tongue dashing along his lower lip as he idly thinks how best to put what he has in mind. “Like a barrier part of the way over the ocean that maybe dampens the winds that come in from there so it’s no different from a typical windy day by the time it reaches Haulani and the Port? ” He could ask for more, but already this feels like a lot. Really, he appreciates whatever it is she has in mind, if she chose to help them.
and inadvertently leading you
to believe i'm your prince

Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
