Sam tilted his head slightly as Amun made a joke he didn't recognise or understand, but he smiled anyway, sure that it was very funny if you knew. As Amun mocked his surprise with a yell of his own name Sam did actually laugh, shaking his head and rolling his eyes in a fake show of irritation. It was nice, to have found someone he was comfortable enough to joke with: it was rare, nowadays, that he could let down the walls so easily.
"If I ever do become an artist, I'm not going to be the sort that paints a lot of naked people." He insisted, trying out a few different mixes of paint for Amun's skin tone before settling on one that would do. His outline of the man was not perfect; the proportions were off and his lines were unsure and feathery, but he continued anyway.
"You're so confident. I'm jealous of that." Sam commented as he took in Amun's still posture and calm look. "When I do have confidence, it never stays for long."
