For a moment, Sam expected the towel around Amun's hips to fall to the ground as he came forwards; that that didn't happen was both a relief and a disappointment. Taking his eyes away from it he looked over his painting again, laughing and shaking his head. "You're just flattering me. Thank you, though." There was a clear better piece between his and Amun's attempts, but the kindness was appreciated.
He had indeed been distracted, and the hand on his shoulder did not help with that at all. Sam gave a shy laugh, looking back at Amun and biting his lip, his eyes wandering up and down. "I was. Um...I was wondering..." He turned to face Amun more directly, feeling a compulsion to touch or kiss him now that they were close but ignoring it, unsure of what was appropriate. "Would you like to stay over tonight?"
