Besides, there were the barracks to consider, and despite the fact that he’d teased about it being last on their list, Aisha had already snagged and hastened towards the building. The Sword shook his head, muffling a snort, and emboldened quick, long strides, cutting in front of her with a cheeky grin, and opening the door to the confines.
It was similar in ways to how he’d ensured the Hollowed Grounds barracks had been laid out – staking out the front parlor for himself, council members, and fellow soldiers, with a long table for plans, diagrams, and unfurled maps. The heart also occupied a massive portion of the wall, with Zuriel already in front of it, head raised towards Aisha for half a moment, before taking it upon herself to continue dozing. While the fellow compatriot would be allowed to wander and poke her head in, as he expected her to, he crouched before the fire, giving a pat to the unicorn’s neck, while ensuring the fire was stoked all the more.
Rising, he bid her free rein. “Armory and soldier’s rooms further down the hall, and all the way back is a door to the training grounds.” He followed behind, permitting her a look through before mentioning anything else – more than a few places needed work and restoration, which he intended to get through before they rendered themselves much closer to Deepfrost.
