AISHA
and now we're breeding a feeling of animosity
Curiosity was the only driving factor behind her questions about the academy, she had no use for it anyway. And once she'd heard enough, placing the name Zariah to her surname and surmising the connotations, she moved on with little more to say. It was just a building now, without it's arcane masters, a blocky eyesore (in her judgmental opinion).

Deimos jogged back in front of her, pulling an indignant grin to her lips. Fine, slowpoke, the tease was contained, instead she shook her head at his cheeky expression. The door to the barracks was swung open, a main room full of warmth. A long table, the birthing place of battle plans and strategies, where warriors had likely gotten drunk on the honeyed spoils of victory together for many years. It was empty but for them now, two soldiers occupying a hall built for many.

Aisha could see the potential, something old becoming something new, and she liked it.

With an analytical eye she went around the main hall room, looking at any decorations or ornamentals for a trace of the past. She stopped when she reached the fireplace, where a familiar friend sat sleeping, "You know your companion gave me a really similar greeting," she said to the unicorn, teasing her human and running a hand along her spine should she let her. She glanced back up to Deimos when he spoke of the other rooms, giving her the layout should she venture off.

And that she did, she gave him a smile and stood from her crouch, stalking away and through the hall to the other rooms. First the armory, then the dormitories, both of which were adequate but lacking, and then to the grounds. Big wooden doors opened up at the end of the hall to a a large yard laden in stone and snow. Columns surrounded the grounds, and a wall on the other side. It was a great space, but the utilities were severely damaged.

Back into the hall, she swung around the corner to comment to Deimos, "The training yard looks like shit, someone has to put those targets out of their misery," she joked, (ah yes the foreshadowing to when Aisha arguably tortures them further) before asking on a more serious note, "Does the Halo guard operate out of here? It seems kind of beat up."
