His hand passes the large patchwork of scar tissue on her flank, feeling the way her body tenses and relaxes as he stays away from it, and he makes it a point to avoid it. He can feel the warmth pouring from her, his body aching for every moment of connection between them, and it isn’t until she’s settled that he’s able to hover over her, to feel her push against him as she leans up on an elbow and his own hands are planted in the sand beside her shoulders, giving him a bit of balance as he readjusts.
And when her lips collide with his again, he can’t help but to burn with it more, not wanting to prolong this much more than either of them already have, so he gives in with hungry, devouring kisses, shifting his hips just enough to slip into her, slowly at first of course, to give her time to adjust to him, Milo having to break the kiss to suck in a breath, a low hum of a moan slipping from him in the form of “fuck—” before his head is lifting again, searching her face, making sure this is okay and still what she wants, one hand departing the sand to wrap around her thigh for extra purchase.
