There had been such an intense build up for this, that there’s relief that swells through him as they meld together, as he can give her all of his focus with nothing else around them but crashing waves, soft blankets, a dying fire, and the stars above. And gods does he burn, a bright flame as his lips find hers again, stifling the growls and groans that want to fall from his lips, shifting them into low hums from his throat. It’s surprisingly easy for him, Aurelia having made it almost perfect for him to sweep in and drown himself in her, to absorb and appreciate every detail of skin he sees and can feel, attention drawn to where she seems to like his hands and straying from the spaces she doesn’t.

Their tongues tangle again and Milo’s swept up in it all, a faster building pace helped by the legs that wrap around him, by her hips that grind against him, even by the hands that tighten in his hair before shifting to his skin, leaving pink lines in their wake. He pulls back a fraction, breaking the kiss again, keeping the rhythm as he goes to shift his weight to his other hand, planting the other in the space over her shoulder, his forehead shifting to rest near hers, his other hand moving down along her hip line again, pulling her closer with each thrust, hoping perhaps he can drive her closer to that edge; the one that steadily creeps up on him, awash with thoughts of her and her alone.
