It was split into a handful of slivers, lesser versions of itself, and set loose to roam the warlords homeland forever, as a punishment to the people, and to the creature." There were a great many things that had happened after the warlords defeat, and it was difficult to recall them all, especially with how much Caiside had attempted to distance himself from the events in the aftermath. This was one memory that had stuck with him a little better however, simple cruelty of it turning his stomach to think on too much. A distant, haunted look clouded Caiside's eyes for a moment, before he shook it off, literally, small tingling noises coming from the gold beads woven into his hair. He met the bards blue eyes with a grin, smiling in the face of the horror there. "There was a celebration coming up soon, the ten year anniversary of his defeat."
