Pushed off - and so easily, too - her growl of surprise (or dismay?) comes as she’s rebuffed and then unable to block his next attack. As he breaks through her defenses she knows its coming and grins fiercely through his push forward as claws rake across her skin, drawing lines and leaving thin ropes of fluid flowing freely down her chest. It could have been bad - and maybe it is worse for Remi, but in the heat of battle such sensations are capped by adrenaline.
Maybe the element of surprise has given her a breath to collect herself; she spins to the right, narrowly avoiding whatever he’s trying to do by launching himself at her. Wessex responds by trying to hit him with a biopulse and then attempting to use his own shadow to trip him or tangle his feet.
An enraged screech echoes in the otherwise deathly silent area. It seems no one informed Loki that her bonded was going to be fighting for fun today and the little black dragon hurls herself with as much speed as she can muster towards the entangled demigods.

Magic: Shadow Steal | Can control the shadows cast by fellow ascendeds (5 at a time), or other human-characters within 10ft of her. Not only can she move them, but they can also effect physical objects around her (within the natural range of the shadow, up to medium-height/weight).
Type: Dark | Rank: Mastered
Magic: Healing | Minor cuts/abrasions/bruising heal nearly instantly. More severe injuries (broken bones, muscle tears, etc) heal at 50% the speed. During PQ+/KQs, heals at basic levels, with a chance to heal at higher levels depending on injury/luck.
