The air warbles and bends, and the alchemist can feel a vibration hum through his bones that is decidedly unpleasant. The cry from Loki above has his predatory instincts stirring, and though he's helpless to resist the shift, that doesn't mean he doesn't welcome it. Lurching forward as his body expands and changes, the Lullaby can feel himself relaxing into the powerful muscles that coil beneath golden fur.
Roaring loudly, the sound a challenge both to the dragon somewhere above and the queen with whom he's so easily matched, the Lullaby again tries to simply attack her with teeth and claws rather than by magical means. Will fluid taste as satisfying as blood? Will the Queen's bones crack the way animals' do? Can his leonine tongue peel the skin from her bones the same way he could any other carcass? In his right mind, whatever that is, the alchemist would never wonder at such things. But just now with his blood singing sweetly in his ears, the manticore within certainly wants to know.
Wessex's biopulse MISSES (it's a contested end. check to basically see if he shrugs off the effects of it since he's in its radius), and because Remi doesn't cast a shadow (it's one of his passive magics, I should have included sooner, sorry), her shadow magic has no effect! Wessex is able to heal herself. Remi's attack of her will narrowly miss.
