A smile spread across Iris' face in response. She noted the ease with which the girl handled the steel in her hands, strength reflected in grace. Iris was curious. There, in the middle of the solemn monotony of the farmlands was a stranger, like a flame in the grass.
Approaching seemed equally dangerous and exciting. "I haven't been in the Grounds long." Making up her mind, or perhaps drawn to the only sign of life on the moist fields, she unstrung her bow and walked over, leisurely. "I've been wondering what Grounders did for fun," Iris offered, playfully. "Though I was hoping you had a decent bar hidden behind a bush, somewhere."
