Rain begins to pound against the windows, Nate glancing up to make sure they’re closed before he grabs a nice (but not the nicest) bottle of whiskey. Zeph is given a generous couple of fingers while the ascended nurses his smoke, working his jaw. ”I guess that’s something.” He concedes wearily, sighing deeply, then reaching up to try and wave away the smoke before it reaches Zeph. ”Don’t suppose you have any grand suggestions for helping this before it becomes a problem, huh?”
