As he answers tea—predictably in some ways, surprising in others—the Eye merely nods and moves toward the fire where a kettle has already been set. Picking it up with a hand-made mitten, he pours them both tea. It is not sweet but nor is it bitter, lingering instead between medicinal and vibrant.
