Earlier that day Aisha had made her lantern for the festival, a thing that she made with a hint of rancor in the undertones. The experience with the specter, the ghost of her mother with no face, it'd left her rattled, frustrated with the gods, and she'd been avoiding shrines since. Ludo specifically as she assumed it was the one that caused the visions. She would not let her past become a game for some entity, her closest emotions were hers to cherish and not be blasphemed.
She was conflicted by it, though she still favored the old gods she was beginning to feel a bit cheated by them. If she did forgive the Herald for making her feel so empty, humiliated, it wouldn't be at the festival that was for sure. She'd go and hang her rather bland lantern, and be with her friends, but she would not go for it.
Now she blew off some steam, practicing some maneuvers against one of the training dummies she'd built weeks ago. Slowly hacking away, as the creatures of this world clawed at her memories, bit by bit. She gave a particularly vicious slice, straw spraying from the dummies neck as her sword met purchase. Eyes drew from the target, finished with it at least for now, scanning the clearing before landing on a familiar face.
A face that pulled her thoughts from more aggravating affairs.
"Come to learn a thing or two?" she grinned, walking closer to meet Amun halfway, leaning slightly against her blade.
