Glancing down into his empty glass, his denim stare flickers toward the bar where wordlessly he orders another round.

You want to be part of it as long as it suits you, to get a compass so that you can travel around, and then fuck off as soon as the..shackles?" Was that the word Ronin had used? "No longer suit." This isn't said with venom or ire. It was simply the truth. Cian would be the man he was if he could see through at least a little bullshit, and he could not believe for even a moment, that Ronin would devote his life to the Order as would be required of him.
