"I've got it from here -- you have my thanks." Theo nodded and started off down the dunes to the shore, certain that walking along the ocean would bring him to civilization sooner or later. And while he walked, he could think about who he could get to play the part of the old man with the map. Happy in the face of a new scam set up, he added, "Good luck with the map -- I'll see you again soon."
That last part was a lie, of course -- or so Theo hoped. Though if this went as planned, Peter would never even know he'd been tricked; he would just think he'd gotten caught trying to steal the map. Oh, Theo loved a well-oiled plan. Not foolproof, nothing ever was, but he had a good feeling about this one.
