eyes can't shine unless there's something burning bright behind
Aurelia arrives the next day no worse for wear. Cleaning soot had been a much-needed break from nailing in stubborn shelves, even the old callouses built up on her hands had become sore. And Nate isn't the only one arriving with something; she's bringing a nice, big, potted ivy plant in her arms. She dives into the food Nate leaves, offering him a muffled 'thank you' of sorts. Then, she takes to repainting the old walls. Paint is simple enough, so she thinks she should have an easy time of it. Hopefully.
Although, there is a point where she goes over to Milo and, to get back at him for teasing her the other day, she aims to catch him by surprise and leave a streak of paint across his cheek.
Anyway, fun and games aside, she eventually comes around to decorating. She cleans up messes they leave behind on the counters and wipes off any offending paint, before finding places for the little decorations Ray might already have laying around. The ivy plant she'd brought, a gift for Ray's shop, is placed somewhere near the front.
Aurelia freshens up the old space with paint and plants and whatever else knick-knacks Ray has around! :D
