The Blade arrived, motions that of a predator, of an individual who spent all of her time training for something terrible to happen, and to survive it. The dragon that accompanied her flew high, moving with a few simple flaps to land on the mantle of the fireplace, his bondmate moving to sit in the chair nearest to him, as if craving the even the memory of flames burning near her.
Honey-gold pools scouted the room all the while, assessing, calculating, guessing at what this could mean – what disaster had struck, what were they required to do now?
A low, soft note, that could easily be mistaken for a growl, rumbled from her bondmate’s throat, though it echoed across their soulbond as a balm, a soothing and calming note that had the Blade soon lifting her focus to the Eye directly, awaiting the inevitable explanation for their urgent summons to this most grand of meeting rooms.
