"Whose would it be, if not yours?" she wants to know, before shaking her head. "Don't answer that. Just... get me a message, preferably without hurting yourself or anyone else." Isla chuckles. Then awkwardness starts to creep its fingers back in towards them, the medic releasing Remi as well and shuffing to sit herself up, raking a hand back through her fair hair. "I see," she says, clearly having similar thoughts regarding not needing to stop.
She glances up at him once he's decided where and how he wants to sit, the medic huffing out a sigh from a breath she absolutely doesn't need. "It's more difficult when you know what's going to happen," she remarks with a lopsided smile. In fact, Isla has to tell herself not to think about it so she can shift a little closer, leaning in to slip a hand against one side of Remi's neck that she might press her mouth against the other. A heartbeat or two later, and it doesn't matter what either of them think or feel - Isla sinks her teeth in deep, and all rational thought winks out.
