As the person, who's name she didn't even know, helped her pick up her fish, Vega clenched her jaw tighter. She allowed the help, nonetheless, and finally stood with her basket filled again. Her guest--because, ultimately, that's who this person was to her--stumbled over their words and Vega sighed. Her temper had sparked, but there really was no reason to stay mad. She reminded herself of this, and sighed again. "Here." She handed the basket to the nearly-stranger. "Make yourself useful. Help me get the rest of the ingredients for tonight's dinner." While she wasn't really sure she wanted the person who had essentially painted the boardwalk with her fish to accompany her, having more arms would prove useful as Vega continued to shop. Without room or time for argument, the inn keeper pressed onward, wiping her fishy hands on the fabric covering her thighs.
