Lies, there’s a reason, and it has everything to do with not wanting to disappoint someone who is actually happy to see her.
So a gift deserves a gift in return and she’s carefully thought about what she has, choosing two items that might suit the would-be explorer as he enters the world beyond the Grounds. Loki has perched herself atop one of the stacks and trills to Wessex as the young man enters the building, She turns to place her book back and then promptly stumbles over a raised piece of floor.
