It occurred to Juniper that bringing an Accepted who could try to channel the Mathair might have helped, but they had no way to get such an individual to the Feverlands, so no use wishing for that now.
Instead Juniper took a closer look at her surroundings, centering herself in prayer: "Mother Mathair, can you hear us?"
