The conflict that rages within Ronin is much less violent, much less overt. Partially it's because he literally doesn't have the facility to tear up the world like he might otherwise do, but it's also simply not how he's built. Ronin implodes - Remi, the opposite. One of many reasons why the two men work so well together. So it makes sense, in some ways, that Ronin reaches out for his husband as they walk, his hand closing around the Lullaby's, not to calm him, merely to ground him.
