[PQ] Setting Up Properly

The alchemist hadn't seen the note on the cart, but had instead seen the signs of life next-door. Sam had likely come in the night, but in the morning Remi saw fresh prints leading to and from the abandoned building next to him, and he smiled gently to himself. He wasn't entirely convinced that Sam would take him up on his offer to be shop-neighbours, but found himself quite pleased that it seemed he had.

Watching Sam enter (Remi had slept in his shop as he was want to do), the alchemist would arrived earlier than the letter (he hadn't read) on the cart indicated that he should. Though the ascended wouldn't be able to taste it, if normalcy was what his new friend craved, then that would be what Remi would try to provide.

Kicking at the door with a boot as a means of knocking (in his hands he held a kettle and two teacups), Remi waited for the door to be opened so he could pour the man a welcome-to-the-neighbourhood cup of tea.
