He calls her his, and likewise, he is hers, and he hopes that she understands that.

But if somethin’ came up like what happened t’ya, I jus’ wanted t’make sure I wasn’t gonna be in the doghouse.” He flashes her a wink, before he’s leaning down to press a kiss to her lips softly, gently, trying to accompany the sentiment with the softness of his lips.
