Maeve was not used to the jungle. Not at all. Every breaking twig or sudden rustle had her on edge. She was barely past the tree line. She could almost see the coast if she looked hard enough. So when there was a sudden splash in the nearby stream she startled, making soft yelp of surprise pushing past her lips as she nearly lost her balance. Wide eyes stared after the now wet boy and she stood, shovel still in hand. "Are you okay?"
She called out, stepping over to a rock towards the boy and almost losing her balance. Her boots slipped on the rocks slightly and her arms wind milled for a moment before she got her balance. "Fuck.. Heh.. Not used to doing this. Do you need any help?"
