Arialla
The encantados did not seem inclined to suddenly develop the power of speech and answer Ray's question; instead, they swam under her and carried the bubble with them further out to sea. Arialla followed along with them. She didn't think the encantados were malicious, but it probably hadn't occurred to them that humans couldn't swim as well as they could, and Arialla wouldn't put it past them to abandon the woman at sea. Fortunately, Arialla herself had no intention of doing so.
I haven't seen them do anything like this before, she commented telepathically. But I've only been following them for a morning. Are you all right up there?
