And as she glances over her shoulder at him, her eyes a dark, warm pool worthy of drowning in, he's too battered and bruised to resist. His heart is raw, he has nothing - and here is Safrin, reaching to touch a hand to his cheek. Ronin closes stinging eyes, leaning into her caress, letting her message sink into his skin.
