The lion immediately shifts to being on all fours standing upon turning his head towards the incoming small group and seeing Nate and the state of the Ascended, hackles raised as he growls. He can see the horrific state the guy was left in, unable to do much or have the strength to do what little he could do. Large eyes looked over the key figure in this incoming group, narrowing as a growl enters his throat.
Neos didn't really have anything akin to a parent when he came into existence, but from what he did know about how human families worked, what he saw now told him all he needed to know about this cruel...
