Aurelia's glad that Maeve can laugh at her embarrasing moments too, at least, but the tease is enough to draw out a deeper blush in her cheeks. She shakes her head softly, not about to try to respond to that and embarrass herself further, but a smile fixes itself firmly against her cheeks.This is okay.
A hopeful lift of her eyes directs itself at the adorable crinkle of Maeve's nose. Then she smooths things over in a way that would've been a lot harder for Aurelia to. That's it then, isn't it? See where it goes.
Standing up and leaning over the table, Aurelia draws Maeve's face into her hands, cupping it, even squishing her cheeks a little. An affectionate peck lands against that little nose, and one for the lips too. Those are too good to be neglected, after all. She leans back a little, pausing to look more tenderly down at Maeve, "Good, me too." Then, Aurelia gently lets go to sit back down.
"Now that that's out of the way," she smiles softly, and finally her confidence weaves its way back in, "tell me about Maeve. What do you do in your free time? What do you like? What makes you... you?" It's a series of very broad questions, but that's intentional. Aurelia leans back in her seat, one hand laid across the table, green eyes keen and listening. Maeve can share as much or as little as she wants.
