Yes Rigby remembered that first explanation, but it seemed more like a half cooked lie than the truth to him. Unfortunately no matter of advice or kindness would break Rigby from his ways. At this point distrust was in his nature, as innate as eating and sleeping. Nobody had ever truly helped him with no ulterior motive, and he wouldn't believe Locke now, maybe never.

But he would keep the chain, leave today and forget about the interaction, hoping to lose the other man in his quick paced life. He watches the lines on Locke's face for a moment more, then shrugs, figuring he won't get anything more substantial from him now. He planned on leaving now, but Locke had something else in mind. The idea of sharing his snack made him scowl, "Why would I need you're help to do that?"
