The embrace is warm, so warm, and Amalia hums contentedly at it, unselfconscious thanks to exhaustion and alcohol. It feels good to be held, after what she's done- so she lets it happen, leaning even closer against Sera until the Artificer pulls away. And even when that happens Amalia slips her hand into the other girl's, desperate for that continued connection. Everything Sera's saying makes so much sense and the Angel drinks it up, nodding eagerly as a child listening to a teacher speak.

Dark eyes flicker down to Sera's full lips, and then back to the woman's eyes. Her face is flushed when she speaks again, a single smoky word with an unspoken question tacked to the end. "Sera...?"
