Enforcer. He doesn't explain further, but she knows. That word along sends a chill down her spine and she ignores it to the best of her ability. "No... We don't have anything like that." Maeve murmurs, swallowing thickly as she looks back down at the sand settling in the bag she's holding.

Embarrassment washes over her and her cheeks go red as something akin to shame settles heavy in her stomach. "I just don't know why they'd want to be there for me." It's partially true.
