The herd we encountered was lost within it.” Maybe these had never gone that length. Maybe these were simply wild. Maybe they knew anything and everything. “We can try to ask,” he pondered – reaching his hand into the mare’s mane, a gentle, reassuring gesture as they began to meander forward again, towards the band dotted upon the landscape.
