Remi can't help but laugh at that. It's so rare nowadays to find someone who was both well-acquainted with death and who still had a sense of humour. 'I would be sure that all the bards were told of your death so that the story could live on forever.' The Caido version of beauty and the beast, perhaps.
A touch bashfully, the alchemist shakes his head. "Taken, yes. But I think you would find that is the least of my barriers." If his time with Maeve had shown him anything, it was that he remained quite gay, but for his strange infatuation with Isla. "Besides, it is all just scars under here, now." He admits with an easy shrug.
Whatever quip he might have made about calling her Hot going forward falls away from his lips as he realizes who she is. "Hotaru." He repeats as the colour of his face drains and shifts, leaving only bright splotches of red on his cheeks. He'd not disrespect her by calling her Sunjata's Hotaru, but even so it takes him a moment to parse how he wants to segue into...some sort of apology, perhaps. "I...heard about what happened." He mumbles, the words vague.
"My husband has a child with Safrin, as well." The way his pale eyes seem to grow slightly darker beneath the fluttering of his lashes suggests that her conception might not have been all too different from Kamaria's.
