They linger like that for some time, tangled up and sharing each other’s warmth, ride out the wave of pleasure that shocks his system. He can feel hers too, but exhaustion weighs heavily in his bones, in the numbed limbs that start to have feeling once more, and he sinks against her, lingering in the gentle touches, the soft tender kisses pressed to his neck.

She seeks out his lips, though, and he follows through, something soft and gentle and without any need to hurry it up. It’s fine this way, he doesn’t mind, but he does mind the fact he’s still standing as his legs tremble and quake. So he meets her gaze as she pulls away, his own steel just as heavily lidded, brushing her nose with his own as he moves to pull away, huffing a quiet sound as he removes himself from her to clean up.

Once he manages it, his hands run along her legs gently, as if offering help for her to slip down from the desk, before he sinks into his chair, unable to find any words to speak.
