He pulled the fabric out and set it aside, gathering the nails and a hammer that he would need. With his gathered items from the porch Noah set back inside. He set the items below the first window and took a step back to examine it. It was fogged up and had ice built up around the edges, trapping dust and soot.
The hunter took one of the swatches of fabric, the one least suited for a window covering, and tore from it what he would use as a rag. Quickly, he moved outside and gathered a handful of snow inside the rag. He knew the warmth of his hands would melt the snow as he wiped the rag on the window, and help him clean it.
