There is some sort of energy out there, and it is - believe it or not - teleporting travelers unimaginable distances in the blink of an eye." She recalls the desert biome she and Wessex had ended up in, the vague nausea of the transport the only side effect to their unheard of journey. "It is beautiful of course, but without portals I was lucky to have been with the person I did; she was able to get us back home with her own magic."
