The dropped bomb has absolutely the desired effect; Tobi's jaw comically drops, her eyes light up, and her cheeks flush pink. "Sera!!" The exclamation is intrigued and just a shade jealous as she follows in her friend's footsteps, all thought of food momentarily forgotten. "Isn't he married?" Tobi wonders, though no sooner have the words left her lips does she realize that isn't really Sera's problem. What is the artificers problem, is: "To a killer?" Still, she can't help herself. "Tell me everything."
The moment switches gears from Ronin to Finn, and Tobi finds the happy blush on her cheeks growing a dark and uneasy scarlet as she nods. Biting the inside of her cheek and attempting a smile, the doctor puts her chopsticks down on her plate so that she can reach into her pocket. Holding out the letter from Finn, and the one from Cian, Tobi lets her friend draw her own conclusions. "I just...of course Cian wouldn't tell me anything if I asked, but what could he possibly ask Finn to do that would warrant this?" She didn't want to say it, sick to her stomach as it made her feel, but she does anyway. "I don't think he would lie to me so outright but...I can't help but wonder if this is just his way of ending things."
