The frown makes way for a humorless laugh to leave him as he shakes his head. “I’m pretty sure I’m still fucked.” He offers Ronin, mostly from speaking aloud his thoughts, unable to keep them inside. “I’m stupid and impulsive and I think I’m trying my best but apparently it’s not trying very hard and I don’t know what to do any differently, Ronin.” A long sigh leaves his nose, head tilting back to look at the ceiling. “I’m still in survival mode I think and I don’t know how to stop it. And nobody knows how to help.” So he’ll continue to spiral out of control like a hurricane, losing everything slowly one by one.
