He’s still a bit fucked up from Ronin’s fists, but he manages to tug at a shift within him, drawing himself into his panther shift, darting across the sands to cut the man off before he’s turning back into himself. Of course, he leaves a bit of distance, not wanting to get within range of the man.
“Bart?” He asks instead, eyes sharp as they linger on the man. “That’s not right. You’re… You’re the one that died. Nate didn’t.” He can’t help the confusion that crosses his face at the dates tattooed on the inside of the man’s bicep.
