light is easy to love.
It's neither romantic or passionate, not when Ronin realises he's holding onto a man about to pass the fuck out. "Hey, careful..." he mumbles, parting from their kiss that he might take over from the window sill to hold the musician up. Tucking himself beneath one of Remi's arms, he's got that sweet military training to thank for the ability to hoist around dead weight, and the beeping of the machines gets his attention as he turns them back to the bed.
"It was just a stupid trip," he says, his tone a good deal warmer and less judgemental than even a second ago. "We can plan it again. Or stay somewhere closer to the city - I don't mind. But not until you can walk out of here on your own two feet, okay?" Ronin doesn't quite manage a smile - he's too busy keeping an eye on the O2 monitor. "And for what it's worth, my phone is never on silent. In case you ever get in your head again."
It's only a step or two back to bed, but gods if it doesn't feel a thousand miles away right now. Ronin blames all the tubes and shit that make Bandcamp look like some marionette with broken strings, and he has to be exceedingly careful not to yank anything out as he all but manhandles him back to the safety of the blankets.
