light is easy to love.
"I hope I never catch you on a bad day," Ronin quips, though his snark is lukewarm at best - he's still too worried about the state of the man trying not to fall down his stairs to give proper banter. And it's with a warmer smile than usual that he shrugs away what they both acknowledge is (and isn't) true between them. "If it helps, consider having to accept my help as revenge for standing me up," he suggests. It's a weird way of looking at it, but it's not entirely wrong.
Stepping into the apartment after Remi and shifting his bag on his shoulder (he's brought enough clothes for a couple of days, but who knows how long the other man will need a helping hand), he's suddenly very aware of the fact that he's cleaned as well. "Fuck, I'm sorry," he mumbles, rubbing at the back of his neck. "I only meant to tidy up a little. Time just got away from me, I guess."
