"If I hadn't, you'd have drawn a bigger crowd than I did." Remi says with a bashful shake of his head. "Couldn't have that."

Rolling his eyes, Remi pokes at the inside of his cheek to keep as straight a face as he can manage. "You lose the plot faster than the ending of How I Met Your Mother did. Raising a brow, he tugs at the collar of his shirt. 'Shopping at the same terrible-sayings-on-t-shirts-store?'

Bobbing his head (the rhythm of which has been picked up by one of his feet which taps against the floor), Remi tries not to notice that Ronin has sat up straighter; as it happens, straighter is closer than being slouched back (nearly against the keys, he might add). "Well maybe if you hadn't decided to start a fight and get yourself kicked out, you might have heard something else you'd have liked." Not even Remi knows what the point of that is supposed to be, but the words feel heated as they leave his lips, though not from anger.

'So you wouldn't get hauled off to the drunk tank.' Remi says, finding it remarkably hard to hold Ronin's gaze. "And then..you just sort of followed me up here, so..." On the couch the wolfhound shifts, grumbling as he did so as if to say just fuck already, before going back to sleep.
