There’s a brief moment where he nuzzles his head against her own, sucking down a long, slow breath at her comment. “I’m glad you think so.” He murmurs, before Haai is returning with the bottle and Sunjata leans back a bit to eye her curiously as he grabs the bottle to open it.
“I was thinking about it. You seemed to enjoy the last one.” He raises a dark brow to her with a playful smile, uncorking the bottle and offering it to her first. “It’s a whiskey. From the Grounds.” He murmurs, lingering to help her lift it to her lips if she needs him to. “It’s strong, smoky, and rich.” And it should likely do the trick on getting her to numb the pain.
