Now it’s her turn to try and climb the ladder, only to avoid actually pushing Nate off, Wessex opts to climb the other side of the ladder, using her considerable strength and speed to try and haul herself up the ladder as well, even if it’s a bit more hanging and crawling than whatever he’s doing on the other side. She should be easily able to swing herself up and around if she can pass him.
As one of the Fae’s wings are pierced, Wessex calls on Nephele’s shadow to try and pull her down to the ground. She does the same with Nate, both his shadow and her own hopefully holding him back and allowing her to climb and make up the distance between them - or perhaps carry her higher.

Wessex starts to climb the underside of the ladder and tries to get Nephele’s shadow to pull her down to the ground. She also tries to use her shadow and Nate’s shadows to hold Nate back and keep him from climbing any higher.
Magic: Shadow Steal | Can control the shadows cast by fellow ascendeds (5 at a time), or other human-characters within 10ft of her. Not only can she move them, but they can also effect physical objects around her (within the natural range of the shadow, up to medium-height/weight).
