Dark hair for catching the wind, not to veil the sight of a cold world
"Maybe I can do something about that," Seren mused, and smiled as her own thoughts were reflected in the hunter's words. Finishing the last dregs of tea from her cup, she had begun to search for something more to say when Eira drew the attention of them both.
Laughing softly, Seren put her cup aside and stood. "Then I will make that my cue to leave," she said easily. "Thank you so much for seeing me, Noah. I'm glad it was you who saved me, for what it's worth... I hope I'll see you again some time."
Leaning down to pet Eira goodbye, Seren slipped in and gave the taller man a quick hug, shy and a little awkward - there and gone again as she quickly retreated towards the door. Hopefully the roses on her cheeks were hidden by the relative dimness of the room... though she didn't count on it.
"Again, thank you! Good luck with your hunt." And with that the girl was gone, one small whirlwind passing through the front door with only bright smiles and an empty cup left behind to tell that she had been there at all.
