Perhaps it was the onset of adrenaline that granted her the clarity, or indeed the awakening of innate talent. Either way, the knife balanced quite well in Seren's hand this time around, and she took a moment to breathe before taking her stance. One hand aimed, rose and fell...

She didn't finish. It might tempt luck to abandon her if she said it out loud.
