The smile on Nate’s face grows wider, grows more predatory, enough so that it sends his prey shifts more to the surface, a dusting of feathers navy in hue that flit through the base of his neck and thread through his curls. He doesn’t, and instead manages a breathy start to a laugh. “I can try—” It’s cut off with the immediate inhale of breath, sharp and audible, back arching as he feels those clawed tips press in hard, pointed and pressured, feels the warmth of blood that begins to bubble to the surface of the NW, proof enough that it would scar. He flushes further, set aflame by the heat of his blood and the thought of the memory of his wrist coated in the same from a prior tryst.
