The amicable mood had really shifted into something else. It was as though a private cloud had settled on them, for all that the sun was glittering down from a clear sky overhead. Seren felt it, and disliked the gloom. All the more because she didn't know how to return them from this somber subject. With regret, she even wondered if it was possible anymore. "Zariah... As for getting home, Seren shrugged. She only had two real options. "I think... I'm going to risk disappointing my goddess and use the portal. Just once. I can't say I look forward to it - " she indeed looked a bit uneasy "- but it beats trekking for months through the Wild."
